Christmas is Hope For All
Dec 9, 2018 • Matt Santen
This message explores what it means to have true hope—not just wishful thinking, but a confident assurance that God will set all things right. Looking at the story of Simeon in Luke 2, we see how hope is found in the comfort of God, in receiving the gift of Christ, and in clinging to the promises of His Word. Christmas reminds us that hope has come for all people. And as followers of Jesus, we're called not only to embrace that hope ourselves, but also to extend it to others—through acts of generosity, through supporting foster and adoptive families, and through inviting others to encounter the hope of Jesus for themselves.
