Don't Take the Bait

In 1 Thessalonians 2:1–12, Paul reminds the church that his ministry was never about gaining people’s approval—it was always about pleasing God. This message challenges us to ask the same question: are we living for God’s approval or for the opinions of others? So often, people-pleasing shapes our choices, our confidence, and even our faith, causing us to forget who God says we are. But our identity is not built on social approval, success, or what others think—it is rooted in Christ. When we live from God’s approval instead of chasing it from people, we find real freedom, confidence, and peace. We stop performing for the crowd and start living for an audience of One.
