Choose to Share God's Love

Because God first loved us, we are called to intentionally become people who give that love away. 1 John 4 reminds us that God is love and that His love is demonstrated through Jesus, filling us so that we can love others in return. That means there are no exceptions to who we are called to love, including our neighbors, outsiders, enemies, and people who are different from us. Through prayer, our actions, and the way we speak, we can intentionally show God’s love to the people around us. We don’t love others to earn God’s love; we love because we have already received it, allowing His love to overflow through us into a world that desperately needs it.
