I Am With Him

Mar 24, 2019    Matt Santen

This message centers on Paul’s call for unity within the church, especially when we come from different backgrounds, beliefs, and perspectives. Using the context of the early church in Ephesus—where Jewish and Gentile Christians had to share the same space—we’re reminded that God desires unity, not uniformity. We're called to walk in humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in love. True unity isn’t about everyone thinking or acting the same—it’s about using our different gifts together to build up the body of Christ in love. The message closes with three practical questions to guide us: Am I creating an obstacle or an opportunity for the gospel? Am I promoting harmony or hurt? Am I choosing to be right or choosing relationship? When we prioritize unity, we reflect the love of Jesus to the world.
