The Inviter

This sermon centers on the ripple effect of a simple invitation, using John 1:35–46 to show how one moment of pointing to Jesus can change countless lives. John the Baptist models this by directing his own followers to Jesus, and that invitation spreads from person to person—Andrew to Peter, Philip to Nathanael—demonstrating how faith grows through relationships. The message highlights that people are often more open than we think; they’re just waiting to be invited. Rather than having all the answers, our role is simply to say “come and see,” trusting Jesus to do the rest. With urgency and compassion, we’re challenged to become people who intentionally invite others into a life with Jesus, knowing that one invitation could impact someone’s eternity.
