The Witness

In John 1, John the Baptist points people to the true identity of Jesus, declaring Him the Light of the world, the Creator of all things, and ultimately the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. By understanding the deeper story behind these titles, we see that Jesus came not just for one group of people but for everyone, offering forgiveness and new life. Just as John served as a witness pointing others to Christ, followers of Jesus today are called to share what they know about Him and reflect His light in a dark world. The invitation of the gospel is simple but powerful: believe in Jesus, trust in His sacrifice for your sins, and receive the life and salvation He offers.
